An online course from The Kinky Classroom designed especially for submissives (and switches)!
Many of us are drawn to the submissive role as part of our kink explorations, but do we really consider WHY we are drawn to it, or HOW we can play in a way in a way that truly presses our buttons, not just the Dom/me's?!

​​Plenty of people are interested in learning how to be a good Dom/me, but it's often assumed that being a good submissive just happens, and that there's nothing we need to learn in order to step into that role. I completely disagree! ​​​If we want to explore power play ethically AND enjoy it consistently, then all of us, no matter our role, have a responsibility to make that happen.

​This course is part of a series of offerings from The Kinky Classroom and is designed as one possible continuation option for those who have already completed my Getting Into Ethical Kink course. However, because I feel this training is so desperately needed to make kink spaces safer, I am also opening this part up to people who have experience in kink and who wish to learn more about this aspect. At a basic level, you will be expected to understand the importance of communication, negotiation, and consent in kink before joining this course.

A version of Empowering Kink, but looking at power from the Dom/me's perspective, is also included as part of the POWER & PRESENCE course, but this version centres the experience of the submissive.

The course
This is a live online course taking place via Zoom over three 2 hour sessions.

This course will give you a deeper understanding of what it means to be an empowered submissive by consciously exploring the many ways in which POWER shows up in kink, beyond the obvious power dynamics.

What is power, really?

Different types of power - visible and invisible to us

The potential to misuse power, whatever role we are in

What empowered submissiveness means

What we get from being submissive (including benefits you may not have considered!)

The responsibilities we have as a sub

The core skills that will make you a great sub

There will be some OPTIONAL homework between classes for those of you who wish to dive deeper into the practices and reflective work.

This course is the outcome of two decades on my own journey around this, from people pleaser to Professional Dominant (who remains super switchy!), AND from working with hundreds of people as they consciously explore kink.
​My work is influenced by the Wheel of Consent, the Right Use of Power, conscious kink, Jungian psychology, some aspects of Sexological Bodywork, the DeVinery Method, embodied facilitation techniques, as well as my research into Followership.
The Schedule
Our online classes will take place 7 - 9 pm (UK time) on the following dates:

We will meet via Zoom. Sessions will be recorded and made available to view for 2 weeks after the class date, should you have to miss any of the live classes.

There will also be an option to add-on extra one-to-one sessions with me online or in-person at a discounted rate during the course.

The cost
The cost for the course is £120, which includes six hours of live sessions plus follow-up emails after each session containing additional resources and reflection prompts. ​​
