Are you curious about kink? Maybe you've seen or heard about some things that pique your interest but don't know where to start. Perhaps it all just feels a little bit too intimidating. This course has been designed with you in mind!
I believe that kink has so much to offer us - as a way to get to know ourselves better, develop new (hugely transferable) skills, connect with people, and PLAY - and yet, I think the very nature of it can make it all seem a bit daunting. It can be a BIG leap to go from reading about something online to rocking up at a dungeon or k.nk party.
This course brings together some of the most critical pieces of information and tools that I would pass on to someone looking to dip a toe into this world (and wish I could go back and share with my younger self!).
** This foundational course is the first of three courses from The Kinky Classroom. It can be taken as a standalone course, or in combination with the other modules, and may be a requirement for attending some future Pleasure Rebels play events **
The course
This is a live, online course taking place via Zoom over five 2-hour sessions.

This course aims to provide an introduction to Ethical Kink for those who are new to kink in general, or those who may have some experience but who wish to learn how to engage in kink responsibly. The focus is on soft skills rather than technical skills.

Some of the topics covered include:

-
What is kink (and what can it be)?
-
How can kink be good for me?!
-
How do we make kink ethical?
-
Consent, negotiation, and communication as fundamental skills
-
An introduction to playing with power
-
Aftercare - what and why?
-
Where to go from here and what to look out for
